Mark Bryson, CFA

Partner

Mark began his career as rated equity analyst at Avior Capital Markets, providing research and due diligence services to top asset managers.

More recently, Mark assisted in the launch of numerous technology startup’s, before founding CapitalX in 2018.

At CapitalX, Mark has managed numerous capital raising processes and advisory engagements.

Roelof Brand, CA(SA)

Partner

Roelof brings over a decade of diverse experience within the investment industry, having held roles across financial management, investment analysis, transaction advisory, and corporate development.

He led Corporate Development at Nitro Software, a PDF and eSign workflow productivity platform, where he was responsible for establishing the Corporate Development function and executing the group’s M&A strategy.

Before Nitro, he was a sell-side equity analyst at Avior Capital Markets where he received numerous top analyst ratings across multiple sectors under his coverage.

Roelof is a founding partner at CapitalX, where he has worked as a transactional advisor, managing various capital-raising processes.

Dirk Noeth, CFA

Partner

Dirk has more than 15 years’ experience in the investment industry in roles as portfolio manager, investment analyst and derivatives trader. 

He has formed and integral part of the Centaur Asset Management investment team that won numerous industry awards (Raging Bull and Morningstar) from 2016-2018.  

Prior to that, Dirk received numerous top analyst ratings across multiple sectors while working as an analyst at Avior Capital Markets.  He was voted South Africa’s top technology analyst in 2012 and 2013.

He is an avid technology enthusiast and has spent time in Silicon Valley investigating start-up and venture capital culture and strategies.  He brings with him a wealth of experience, with a focus on business strategy, asset valuation and innovative solutions.
